Wireless Concepts is pleased to announce that we have partnered with Comba Telecom Incorporated to provide a neutral host in-building solution to the Ingalls Health System, serving the Chicago South Suburbs.
Comba Telecom is a leading supplier of infrastructure and wireless enhancement solutions around the globe. Utilizing the Comba Low Power Indoor DAS platform, Wireless Concepts has designed neutral host distributed antenna systems (DAS) for the Ingalls Memorial Hospital and its Family Care Centers located in Tinley Park, Flossmoor, and Calumet City IL. The systems will bring coverage enhancement to over 734,000 sq. ft. of the main hospital facility, located in Harvey, IL and the three Ingalls Family Care Centers, totaling an additional 203,000 sq. ft.
More than 22,000 ft of coaxial cable, 9000 ft of optical fiber, and 164 Omni directional antennas are currently being installed. The Neutral Host DAS has been designed to accommodate Verizon Wireless, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile. The Ingalls Health System will now have the flexibility to provide in-building service to patients, visits and hospital staff for the major carriers in the area.
Wireless Concepts has been working right from the start with key hospital staff and the installation team to minimize any potential impact to the care givers and their patients. Again, we are pleased to provide turnkey services to our Enterprise Customers – From Site Survey to Design and Installation, Testing, Commissioning, and Project Management.
The project is currently underway and is due to be completed in the first quarter of 2016.
